Newbiggin Dean Viaduct

The Grade II listed viaduct over Newbiggin Dene near Norham was built in 1849 for the York, Newcastle and Berwick Railway.

It comprises rock-faced stone with brick soffits to the six tall, broad segmental arches which stand on battered piers with cornice bands. The low parapet is formed by rusting iron railings.
